As a developing country, the field of construction is one of the major contributors in the socio economic development of our country. Numerous buildings are sprouting everywhere, however, due to this, available green spaces are taken up by structures. We encounter various problems related to air, noise, water pollution, energy consumption, lack of space, etc.

          Through ‘The Green Haven’, we provided a solution for this problem. While using the same materials buildings are normally constructed with, strategies to make the building more open and green inside and outside are provided. This makes the building financially and environmentally feasible to construct and it also follows the rules and regulations of the city. At the center of the building, an open courtyard surrounds the major building circulation. The open roof deck with greeneries serves as an activity space or lounge for tenants. Most rooms were also provided with balconies. The building not only serves its purpose as a home, it also serves as an oasis in the urban concrete jungle
